MyMarchMadness is a raffle designed to raise money for non-profit
organizations by appealing to those interested in the NCCA Men's Basketball
Tournament and encouraging others to participate by buying a raffle ticket.

The organization selling you your ticket benefits from the raffle.

No! Unlike the "bracket" polls you need no knowledge of teams or rankings.
You do not have to pick a "lucky" lottery number.
Each ticket has three teams. The total points scored by your three teams
throughout the ENTIRE tournament computes your ticket's point total. It makes no
difference if your teams win or lose. Total points per ticket are then used to
determine winners.

The raffle runs the entire 2008 NCCA Men’s Basketball Tournament which starts
on Thursday, March 20th and ends on Monday April, 7th.

All tickets are preprinted and sealed in envelopes. You can not select a
ticket number or your three teams.

Each ticket envelope and ticket contains information about the cash prize
payout.

Each ticket has three top teams as of March 1st, 2008. The NCAA Official RPI
ranking system is used to select teams. In the unlikely event that one of the
teams on your ticket does not make the tournament, that team will be awarded 65
points towards your three team total.

Since standings and prizes aren't determined until the end of the tournament,
it is possible to purchase tickets throughout the opening rounds of the
tournament.

The ticket envelopes and back of each ticket have
all the information that you'll need. The Official Rules are also available at

Local non-profit organizations sell tickets and raise and keep the money from
the raffle. The MyMarchMadness concept was developed by a small Catholic school
in the Pittsburgh area. Our school's Athletic Boosters administrate the raffle,
maintain the MyMarchMadness website, and supply all of the materials needed to
run a raffle.
